FAQ - for Pastors & Leaders

All Nations from Steve York on Vimeo.

Who am I?
My name is Steve York. I was in pastoral ministry for 18 years as a youth pastor & associate pastor.  I have a B.A. in Linguistics from UC Santa Barbara and an MDIV from Moody Theological Seminary. After experiencing eight years of fruitful college campus ministry, I realized that there are churches near every college campus that could benefit from evangelism and disciple-making training to reach those students. I am now on staff with a non-profit 501c3 organization called All Nations that was begun in 2015 for the purpose of helping churches multiply disciples on college campuses. I am also on staff (as a volunteer) for CRU (Campus Crusade for Christ).
What do I do?
I come alongside pastors and churches to help them equip their people (including their college students) to multiply their lives by making disciples who make disciples on college campuses. I have some very simple, transferrable tools to equip others to do evangelism and disciple-making on campus. Equipping and training the local church is my passion.
What is my Goal?
My goal  is to help your church to be effective at discipling college students and equipping them to multiply their lives by making disciples as well.
What is our vision?
Our crazy-huge-vision is to see a church near every college campus in America passionate and effective in reaching that campus with the Gospel.
What is my commitment to you?
My commitment to you is to offer resources and training (free of charge) to reach the campus near you.
What is the first step?
Give me a call or shoot me a text or email! I’d love to chat for a few minutes on the phone. If you then desire, we can set up an appointment to meet in person for an hour over lunch or a cup of coffee. During that meeting I can show you some simple and transferable evangelism and disciple-making tools to reach your campus.  Where we go from there is up to you. At the least, you’ll get a free meal and/or a cup of coffee!
What does success look like?
  • Your church having a growing passion and effectiveness in  reaching college students with the Gospel.
  • Your church leadership seeing the great value of investing resources into reaching the nearby college campus(es).
  • The development of a ministry team in your church that is equipped and passionate about discipling college students.
  • The formation of a core group of college students who are equipped and passionate about reaching their fellow students on campus (student leadership team).
  • A college ministry at your church that has disciple-making DNA built into it.
How do I offer to help?
  1. Speak to your church leadership, sharing with them the value of investing in college students in your community, and giving them some actions steps to make it happen.
  2. Equip your college ministry leadership by training them to do evangelism and disciple-making on campus.
  3. Equip your key student leaders by training them to do evangelism and disciple-making on campus.
  4. Speak to your college students (a large or small group) to share with them the vision for living mission-ally on campus, and inviting them to the next step of being trained to do evangelism and disciple-making on campus.
