Last semester Josh was attending Modesto Junior College, and Josh is passionate about sharing his faith and making disciples! So Josh invited me to join him in making disciples at Modesto JC. What a privilege to do spiritual surveys on campus with Josh several times!
And WOW, was it effective! Jesus said that the harvest is ripe.... and He knew what He was talking about! After only a few days of doing spiritual surveys on campus, we met a few students who wanted to meet up more and study the Bible. One young man, Daniel, already loves Jesus and expressed interest right away in learning how to share his faith and make disciples. Josh continued to meet with him throughout the semester.
How do we know when we have succeeded in starting a discipleship movement on a campus? When:
1) There is a local resident leader (a local college pastor, youth pastor, or believer who has a passion to make disciples on campus).
2) There are five students at the school who are united in the vision to make disciples.
With that definition in view, be praying for a discipleship movement at Modesto JC!
Pray that the Lord would raise up a local leader to passionately pursue disciple-making at Modesto JC.
Pray also for more students like Daniel who want to be a part of launching a discipleship movement at Modesto JC.
We are so thankful that you are on this journey with us. May the Lord use us to change the world one disciple at a time.

The Yorks are passionate about bringing the Gospel to the nations - especially the unreached of the world (those who have no access to the Gospel). They are convinced that the greatest impact they can have in reaching the unreached is by multiplying disciples on college campuses and equipping churches to be missional disciple-makers.
